I finally got to make caramel corn using a caramel corn glaze. It was so easy to use. It tasted just like the caramel corn you make in the oven. I used my “Whirleypop ” stove top popcorn popper. I made the popcorn the way I normally do. Instead of using a buttery flavored popping oil, I used regular Canola oil. Just before I added the unpopped kernels I added the caramel glaze. As it finished popping and I poured it in to a bowl, I noticed it looks like a commerical caramel corn. In a few minutes it started to cool. The taste is unbelievable. If I would have added peanuts I would have had a homemade cracker jacks.
