You may wonder what does popcorn and back to school have to do with each other?  Well, when my kids go back to school I have to start figuring out what I should send with them to school as their snack for the day or what to have ready for them to snack on when they come home.  I don’t know about your children but mine act like they are starving as soon as they come walking through that front door!  Of course, the last thing I want them to do is eat a lot and ruin their supper.  So, I have found that popcorn is the Perfect snack

Popcorn is a great snack because it is sugar-free.  It is also low in calories and fat if you’re careful what you add to it.  Plus, it is very filling and will tide them over until supper time. 

Popcorn is also a great snack idea because it is very easy to make in the microwave or on the stove-top and can be made ahead of time.  So, I don’t know about you but it’s time for me to get out the popping oil, salt and popcorn and get POPPING!
